I always wondered why “Jolene” was considered to be a typical country song. If Loretta Lynn had been singing it, she’d have taken Jolen by the hair of the head and taken her to fist city. That’s a more realistic country version.
LOL. I love the song, but I never understood why a woman would fight over a man.
