Thanks for posting, listening to it now, remastered version though. Such a great album, such a great band.

Many people don't realize that Fleetwood Mac was a band for almost a decade before this album and had nine studio albums released by the time Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks were invited to join the band.

In fact, even that almost didn't happen because the band initially didn't want Stevie but Lindsey told them that they were a package deal. Take both of them or they would get neither.

The band was concerned that Christie McVie would resent having another female join the band so they ended up all going out to dinner together to see how compatible they would be. Well, Christie hit it off right away with Stevie and the rest is musical history.

Their first album together did a slow burn on the charts and the first hit was sung by Christie ("Over My Head"). However, when the Stevie sung "Rhiannon" got massive airplay in 1976, the album finally hit number one and went on to go multiple platinum.

Then "Rumours" was released in early 1977 and Fleetwood Mac went into the stratosphere.

Though in my opinion, Fleetwood Mac were at their creative peak with the "Tusk" and "Mirage" albums (1979 and 1982 respectively).

Amazing that this band was and is so popular. The first CD that I bought was Rumors way back when the 2nd gen of CD players came out.
