Was sitting under a coconut tree on a tropical pacific beach once, coconut landed beside would have split my head open. My country place has a ton of iguanas, they fall out of trees a lot.
A typhoon was imminent on Guam when I was there at one point, and Public Works came by and started pulling coconuts off of all the trees in the neighborhood, which there were more than a few.
I asked one of the public works personnel why they were pulling the coconuts off all the trees in the neighborhood, he looked at me and he said: “have you ever been hit in the head by a 90 mile an hour coconut?”
It was one of those “aha” moments.
