The retail costs of Narcan is ~$40.00 a dose. My guess is that most junkies would rather spend that forty bucks on junk.

Even with that, making Narcan more widely and easily available would save lives, at least until the next time they overdose.

You are both right. There are potential positives to making Narcan OC. Seems to me it would also give junkies a sense that there were no longer consequences of overdosing thereby encouraging more use and bigger doses.

In any case someone has to be conscious enough to administer the antidote.
