I think the WHY is important. There are too many in the USA and to prevent people from going the other way and banning everything we need to know the WHY and prevent it.

Switzerland has one or many in each house yet very few such mass attacks.

Yes,the United States is an imperfect country and always has been. The only way that *why* this particular even occurred is noteworthy is,perhaps,if the shooter had some kind of serious,long term,mental disorder. Schizophrenia,for example...or someone who who has sustained a serious brain injury.

I don't care if this guy killed those 10 people because he hated black people...or because his wife was mean to him earlier in the day. They didn't deserve to be murdered and the killer must be punished...very,very severely.
