A five-year-old Townsville boy who woke up with what appeared to be a harmless headache while on holiday has tragically died four days later in hospital.
Andre Daisy, 5, died unexpectedly after coming down with flu-like symptoms on a family holiday with his mother Trudy Stanley-Thaiday, step-dad Jarick and his three sisters, in Brisbane on February 2.
His mother said she thought her son had caught the flu when he developed a headache and vomited on the morning they were set to travel home, The Townsville Bulletin reports.
But Andre’s condition declined drastically in just a matter of hours and he began to have a seizure, forcing his family to pull over and call the paramedics in Gladstone at 2pm.
He was placed into an induced coma and flown to back to Brisbane for urgent medical treatment at the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

Very important to continue to constantly monitor someone when sick. I remember being sent home from school in the sixth grade with fever of 102. Parents were out of town and my older brother picked me up. On the way home he stopped by the record shop and left me in a cold car for over an hour. After his important trip to the record store he dropped me off at home and I remember reading a thermometer of 106. Freaking out all by myself I figured out to soak rags into ice water and cover myself. The next time I took my temperature it was around 100. I never told anyone about it.

Meningitis more likely.
Since when does “Suddenly” = “4 days” ?
Without the use of “suddenly” this become a huge international nothing burger.
They dont know when to stop, and that will be their downfall.
