Blogspot for a new site, then move it to a WordPress once you get known a little. It’s a little trick.. Google owns Blogspot - blogspot gets favor. If you need help, just ask - I have been using them for a decade.

Sites built with wordpress can also be used on your own host. jekyllrb.com might also be useful for your purposes.

Go to NSA.gov, click the drop down menu for “Create a Website”, click on “Choose a Template”. Easy peasy.
Better yet...Go to TicTok, click the “Buy Existing Website” tab. You may have to convert the website language from Chinese to American.

Dreamweaver I loved Maromedia products. I won an award for a PHP website I built with Dreamweaver/Fireworks/Flash in 2008.
I switched to WordPress around 2010, and started specializing in the Divi theme a few years later.
I've recently begun designing a web app in the Old School way: hand coded in Notepad++. The code is lean and the site is lightning fast.
