U.S. monthly intake of refugees from Ukraine 2021-2023 Published by Statista Research Department, Feb 13, 2023 In January 2023, the United States accepted 145 refugees from Ukraine. In fiscal year 2022 - which ended September 30, 2022 - the U.S. accepted a total of 1,610 Ukrainian refugees. The most Ukrainian refugees arrived in February of 2022, the same month that Ukraine was invaded by Russia.

In April 2022, the United States committed itself to welcoming 100,000 Ukrainian citizens and others fleeing Russian aggression in the region, but has so far only accepted 2,123 since the Russian invasion.

As a professed neutral I can’t help but notice a glaring hypocritical fact about the Russia-Ukraine war.

The US has sent 10s of billions of dollars of our riches to Ukraine to “help their people”. We have sent weapons that have killed many Russians (and prolonged the war allowing many Ukrainians to be killed by Russians) to again “help the Ukrainian people”.

The Ukrainian people are a miserable lot, little electrical power, much death, lack of food etc and 8 MILLION of them have fled their country. Yet while Biden pledged to admit 100,000 refugees we have only thus far allowed a measly 16,000 or so to do so. 2,123 in over a year….or .00026 of the total as refugees.

Why? Where is this huge concern of the Biden administration for the “people of Ukraine”??? We have let in MILLIONS of fake refugees from Central America, If the Biden admin was actually concerned for the people would he have not pushed for more to be admitted instead of playing lip service to the ideal?

It’s almost like our (government) concern for the people of Ukraine is a pretense, like we are really involved in the war for geopolitical gain under the ‘casus belli’ of concern for the Ukrainian people.

Note: To be fair CBS reports differ wildly with Statistia, CBS claims a full 100,000 has already immigrated since the invasion…of course CBS also claimed Trump colluded with Russia and Hunter’s laptop was possibly a Russian disinformation campaign plant: “Alleged Hunter Biden laptop. Even if the moderator doesn't bring it up, the president is sure to mention the New York Post's reports about the alleged laptop and emails of Hunter Biden. Mr. Trump has called the Bidens an "organized crime family," an accusation for which there is no evidence. The laptop and emails have not been verified.”—CBS 10/22/2020

Ukrainians don’t want to come here. They don’t trust Biden.

They would rather go to places like Poland and Czech Republic where the governments understand the Russian threat and are doing whatever it takes to defend Europe’s borders.

I’m also neutral regarding the war between Russia and Russia Jr.

“and 8 MILLION of them have fled their country.”

I saw a figure of 9.3 million recently.

Most of the refugees are in countries bordering or near Ukraine, probably hoping to go home soon. Perhaps they don’t want to travel overseas to the USA.

You don’t think they’ll actually allow that many white refugees into this country. That perk is only for “marginalized people of color”.

Governments never care about people.

Governments only care about geopolitical gain.

This is why the people ought to always make their government small and weak. But the people should be strong and well-armed.

Checklist for politicians:
Get Elected
Get Reelected
Help fellow travelers get elected as long as they don't interfere with your reelection
Make as much money as possible
Do as little as possible during time in office.

Bringing in millions of refugees, giving them free stuff fits perfectly with, Get Reelected, as you are going to remind them everyday who got them all the Free Stuff.

Biden is too busy blowing up pipelines and aiming the missiles to care about people.

Biden’s #1 priority is to escalate this war and if you disagree, then you must be supporting Putin.

The Biden’s only care about pilfering Eukraine and setting up front in said country to extort people and companies. Who ever said anything about human welfare. I’ll stay away from organ and child trafficking, both are beyond all evil.

I agree but something else might be going on.

Ukrainians (common people I mean) as I understand are much like other Eastern Europeans and are not yet indoctrinated to WOKE ideology. They are not going to like trans story hour at their schools and will vote against woke politicians when and if they get naturalized.

Just by weird coincidence I saw this random video this morning. A typical western feminist type woke U.K. woman was shocked when she housed a Ukrainian family who left after only a week as their neighborhood was a typical leftist city full of illegals aliens, Muslims, lgtbq types and crime.

Assuming the statistics are correct, the answer is quite simple: the "Biden" regime does not want additional white immigrants.

The primary purpose of the open southern border is twofold: a) cheap labor for the corporations now cooperating with Democrats; b) the suppression of the ethnic group with the most conservatives in the US, whites.

The other answer is that probably most Ukrainian refugees wish to return to Ukraine, so staying nearby, especially in places that are linguistically and culturally close like Poland is much more attractive.

The war was started by Russia and only continuing because the Ukrainians desire to keep fighting: no amount of US aid could create the will to resist, as our history from the Kuomintang to Afghanistan shows. If you think the US or Ukraine "provoked" Russia then you are simply begging the question, which is whether or not the Ukrainians are free to decide their own future or be consigned to yet again being just another Russian satrapy.

Hmmm…. now we hear from the globalist peanut gallery resident chanting “Russia, Russia, Russia”.

Look, peanut gallery resident, the article is on the limited number of Ukrainians ACCEPTED for US entry, not on the number of Ukrainians who would want to come to the US, which would certainly be vastly higher.

hypocritical fact #2 - we aren’t there to protect “democracy” which Ukraine never was

We are there bleed Russia, and Ukrainians are the chumps who are doing it for us.

You have a very exaggerated sense of how many people want to live in Biden’s America.

Think about it this way: Ukrainian people are white, are educated and thanks to The Russians socialism tend to be conservative.
