Friends, family of ‘anarchist’ Oakland baker killed in robbery gone wrong don’t want jail time for thieves
A woke California baker was savagely killed during a robbery this week — and her family and friends are urging authorities not to jail her assailants to align with her social justice beliefs.
The startling plea came after Angel Cakes owner Jen Angel was robbed by two thieves who smashed her car window and ran off with her purse near a Wells Fargo in Uptown Oakland Monday afternoon, the San Franciso Chronicle reported.
Angel, 48, chased after the duo’s getaway car, but got caught in the vehicle’s door and was dragged more the 50 feet, smashing her head on the sidewalk. She was put in a medically induced coma and declared dead Thursday.
“As a long-time social movement activist and anarchist, Jen did not believe in state violence, carceral punishment or incarceration as an effective or just solution to social violence and inequity,” her loved ones wrote on a GoFundMe page set up in the wake of the attack.

Yet she's an "Anarchist" who also wants to force others to wear useless masks, and take an unproven vaccine forced upon society by a massive central government, in cahoots with a powerful crony-capitalist pharma company

It was an offense against society, not just the baker, so forgiveness is not the family’s to give.

Given her alleged position on criminals not deserving justice, why did she give chase?

More than that, I think Jen Angel's family should have to pay each of the Robbers a yearly minimum income because Jen Angel's risky and unsafe behaviour caused her death, and the Robbers shouldn't have to suffer economic hardship for it, as they will be prevented from earning a living plying their trade.
Jen Angel's Family should pay for the misdeeds of Jen Angel.

I still don't see any actual family members quoted in these articles...only activist freaks that I guess were friends.
Extreme Liberals like these women used to be called Passivists. Even long before that the Quakers would have agreed with them about so called restorative justice. I believe singer Joan Baez comes from a Quaker family.

Exactly! I would gladly go along with them if the perps guaranteed to only attack their ilk. Then they would be performing a public service.
Let them have their own country on Alkatraz called Anarchia, where they can run things their way. Put a big sign over it, flashing “’CRIMINALS’ WELCOME!” and underneath it, “Come to a society that you can victimize”

Ship them to Anarchia on the island of Alkatraz. Let them wallow in blood and gore there, with the criminals they love.
