One of my favorites on Abbey Road is the song “Because The World Is Round”.
Gold plated harmonies, wonderful phrasings of sound from beginning to end. Its a song that rests long within your head. Mostly a Lennon composition.

That was filler for the "White Album",
EIGHT MINUTES of Filler. It seems like half of the tracks are filler, maybe more if you don't like McCartney dance hall numbers (e.g. Martha My Dear). With that much filler they had no business making a double album.

There’s a lot of truth to that Paul spent a lot of time on this song and the other Beatles reaction to it was a factor in Paul deciding to leave.

Maxwell’s Equations. The phrase "pataphysical science" was a pretty clever line, I figure. I only recently connected that with the Spanish "pato", duck, and subsequently "quack science".
Whether that's on the mark or not, I've just read that "pataphysics" means "the science of imaginary solutions", and was a real term used to make fun of science. Radical.
