Makes me think of Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine’s father. Totally psycho.

I like the song. They took a throwaway joke song and filled it out with Paul’s incredible vocal and harmonies, tasty guitar work and even an early use of moog synthesizer. Every song on Abbey Road was stellar.
Their last recorded album and they went out on top. What an album and what a band.

I think Octopus’s Garden was even worse than this one.

That's a Ringo song, not Paul.
John's Revolution #9 is MUCH worse than either.

At least R9 was artsy-concepty.
Great fodder for the Paul is dead” craze.

That is no excuse for something that purports to be "music". You know, melody, harmony, rhythm.
Octopus' Garden has all three, and a childish lyric. So does "Yellow Submarine". According to John, so does "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". And the Octopus' lyrics are more sophisticated still than "Wild Honey Pie" and "Why Don't We Do It in the Road?".

And I agree with Don Draper on "Tomorrow Never Knows".

melody, harmony, rhythm Did I hear someone mention "Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"?
What a non-melodic, jerky, patched together piece of garbage.

John's Revolution #9 is MUCH worse than either That was filler for the "White Album", but thank you for reminding me of "Number 9, "Number 9", it will take a day and a half, to get that out of my head.

Paul used this to prepare for the suckage that was to be known as Wings.
