If you can't do A2 + B2 = C2 you are not a functional human being. I tried to teach that to a couple of carpenters! I gave up and I am a pretty good teacher. LOL.

Had a guy in our shop that keep "losing" rulers. Found out he he couldn't read fractions so just marked the ruler, evidentially had too many marks to tell them apart so needed a new ruler.
