New biomarker for disease progression in multiple sclerosis (“Glial fibrillary acidic protein" (GFAP))

The autoimmune disease multiple sclerosis can take a variety of courses. Determining the current and future course of the disease is important in order to slow down its course as much as possible. Researchers have presented a biomarker whose values in the blood allow such predictions.

The researchers focused on a cell component that is measurable in the blood and is characteristic of a certain type of brain cell. These cells, called astrocytes, play a key role in multiple sclerosis (MS) processes, which can lead for example to permanent paralysis and disability.

The blood level of this cellular component, called "glial fibrillary acidic protein" (GFAP), increases when astrocytes are activated or damaged. The new study shows that elevated GFAP blood levels can indicate both current and future progression of MS. Their results are based on data from, inter alia, the Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Cohort.

The research group headed has thus presented a second biomarker that can support therapy decisions in MS. Last year, the research team demonstrated that some persons with MS with an apparently stable disease course had high blood levels of the neurofilament light chain (NfL) biomarker. NfL specifically indicates neuronal damage.

These people had a significantly higher probability of presenting symptoms caused by MS in the following year. Since NfL sensitively predicts disease activity at an early stage, these patients can now be treated in a more targeted, proactive manner.

Understanding of the disease mechanism is constantly increasing Compared with NfL, the GFAP blood marker allows conclusions to be drawn about a different aspect of the complex pathophysiology of MS. Although increased NfL blood values indicate neuronal damage, GFAP in blood specifically indicates chronic disease processes in which astrocytes are involved and that contribute to gradual progressive disability.

Astrocytes spend their childhood in the lower intestines, learning what pathogens to protect against, and learning how to protect against them. Then astrocytes take up residence in the brain.

In my own research, I have worked with 28 cases of MS. Every one of them I found a trauma involving their father figure that happened around age five and the emotion was internalized as guilt.

It appears that perceived traumas by children have various influences upon the subconscious and the immune system based upon the age and level of development.

For example, cutters and self mutilators the perceived trauma happens around age three.

I use the word perceived to describe the trauma as it is based upon the perception of the child at the time of the event which often does not represent reality.

When a child experiences a trauma, such as parents getting divorced, they very often blame themselves. This guilt is internalized and creates a reversal in the subconscious reward/punishment system to where the child is positively rewarded by punishment and negatively stimulated by praise.

The guilt causes the child to feel they deserve to be punished and they feel better when this happens. Thus, they act out more in order to get the punishment they feel they deserve.

When their external environment does not provide this punishment, they punish themselves through immune system suppression.

Ironically, I often found that the MS symptoms were exacerbated when the person entered a healthy marriage, even arising on the honeymoon. Unhealthy marriages suppress symptoms as the environment provides punishment.

In one case, the woman with MS stated that she did not have a trauma with her father around age five. So we tested her and a trauma was indicated.

I asked, “By chance did your mother wear the pants in the family?” The woman replied “Yes.”

When I stimulate a stored memory in a person’s soul, I cannot differentiate between actual male or female gender of the person involved in creating the stored memory. I can only determine if the dominant aspect of consciousness is masculine or feminine. (Gender identity not actual gender)

I have not done much work to heal these traumas in people as I found that the victim status became a part of their illness coping strategy and they were very attached to the trauma.

When I touch a traumatic memory in a person’s soul that was internalized as guilt, it moves their physical body to their left, often knocking the person off their feet, even though I am many feet away from them, their eyes are closed, and I say nothing.

I’ve figured out how to stimulate the subconscious thought and reverse bridge it into the central nervous system without stimulating any physical body critical senses.

Thus it is pure stimulation/response that is repeatable without the biased variable of the critial mind.

The techniques make psychology a science.

All people with MS have a dominant feminine aspect of consciousness. This is why more women get it than men.

The immune system attacks the Schwann cells that produce the myelin sheath around the neurons. This sheath provides insulation so the signal does not leak out the walls of the neuron.

If you ever whispered into a pipe and another person could hear your message many feet away. But if the pipe were perforated, the sound leaks out and does not reach the other end.

This describes what happens in the neurons that results in MS, as the signals leak out the neuron wall and do not reach their destination.

I never heard of a trauma theory around a certain age. That’s fascinating. I have read a theory that MS involves self-hatred and guilt and that it involves a father’s rejection.

I like learning about things from Conservative Mind’s posts and Freeper comments.

I had never heard any of it prior to doing the tests. Everything I stated was based upon my own experiences observing the tests on stored memories.

Thank you for sharing as I will do more research.
