But don’t stop there. Arrest all the school administrators for depraved indifference (or whatever they call it in New Jersey).

I’m a retired public school teacher, with more than a few bruises for breaking up fights. And let me tell you something you probably already know.

School administrators care about only one thing: public relations. They don’t give a damn about teacher safety, staff safety, or student safety. Their only goal is to make the school district look good. That’s it.

In my district we were forbidden to call the city police for help. It was a firing offense. If you dialed 911 on your classroom phone, it was automatically routed not to the 911 call center, but to the school district’s central office.

Oh, do I hate those people.
