Teammates and coaches are mourning the loss of a former collegiate tennis star who died suddenly at the age of 31 over the weekend.
Former University of Georgia standout Lilly Kimbell reportedly died on Sunday, according to her family. Kimbell's family says that she had been experiencing kidney issues that led to a heart attack. CPR was performed at her home and she was transported to the hospital, but her family tragically were forced to make the decision to take her off of life support.
“We were stunned and heartbroken to learn of Lilly passing away,” said Georgia head coach Jeff Wallace. “I will always remember how she helped create a culture of excellence with her attitude and work ethic. Lilly was a fantastic teammate and was always smiling and laughing during practice and matches. She ranks as one of the most successful doubles players in Georgia tennis history. During the spring of her sophomore year, she went undefeated in doubles with Maho (Kowase), and their 22-match winning streak is still a school record. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.”
Kimbell, who graduated with a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Science in 2014 and a masters in Sport Management in 2016, is one of the most distinguished players to have passed through the university's women's tennis program.
She holds the school record for most consecutive doubles wins in a season, alongside partner Maho Kowase, and she was a part of four teams that made it to the NCAA quarterfinals. She also ranks fourth in career doubles victories with a 109-31 record and seventh in doubles wins in a season with a 32-5 record in 2012.
1. clot shot,
2. knew too much on the Clintons, or
3. she pointed out that Georgia has beaten Bama only once in the past 15 years with Bama winning 7 and having a point differential of 72 points.
Be wary of the dates — though, this articles indicates recenlty.
There’s a widespread campaign underway to trip up the vax skeptics by reporting “sudden deaths” that occurred prior to 2021. And take notice of those that seem to take pleasure in the deception.
Why would the family have any obligation to explain anything to strangers? Is that the ultimate in arrogance, or what?
How unusual!
Since this is not a controlled study, the specific pathophysiologic link and causality between the incidence of kidney diseases and COVID-19 vaccination are difficult to confirm. However, clinicians need to consider the possibility that kidney diseases may be provoked by vaccines in patients who have renal symptoms.
Good find.
Yeah…if your kidneys are ALREADY bad. Like this guy’s kidneys.
It’s the old “died with COVID” vs. “died of COVID.”
I had a 16 year old girl fourth cousin who “died of tuberculosis” in 1918. They amended her death certificate to read “died of influenza.” She had been chronically sick with tuberculosis for several years, but the flu finally got her. Which did she die from?
Really?
Young...dies... unexpectedly...suddenly...
A pattern we’ve seen for quite some time that has pointed to a common thread - the vaccine - which was NEVER tested through to a safe product and about which Dr. Fauci is now found to have known was not safe.
Cute. What a shame. RIP. :-(
The policy for determining cause of death was (is?) that if the Wuhan virus is present at time of death, death was caused by the virus.
Why not apply the same policy to mRNA vaccines?
I doubt that she would make the third point as she seems to be a Georgia fan. If she did, it wouldn’t be popular, but I doubt fatal.
I have to admit Georgia has looked like the best team the last two years.
Now that I have dropped HULU + Live (never to return), how best to watch Alabama football?
On a serious note, this girl’s death was tragic.
Yes. Renal disease kills people every day. Thank you for calling attention to a disease process. Of course I suppose you didn’t read far enough to see if was renal disease.
Prove it
You can demand all you wish.
The US counted deaths with covid as covid deaths.
Now all deaths with vaxx are vaxx deaths.
Simple as that, whether you accept it or not.
Oh, and meant to add, I wish you well.
The article only states "Kimbell's family says that she had been experiencing kidney issues that led to a heart attack." It doesn't say how long those "issues" persisted, nor does it call the "issues" a disease.
It could certainly be shoddy reporting, or it could be that if it really were kidney disease the family would have said that she was struggling with the disease for a long time, rather than the more passive "had been experiencing kidney issues.
You could be correct, but your assumption is not borne out by the facts of the story as presented. However, given that the team and coaches "were stunned and heartbroken to learn of Lilly passing away,” I'd have to assume that she either kept her kidney disease a secret from the team or she wasn't suffering from kidney disease at all.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla’s bioweapon takes another? Suddenly?
