As for the photograph, Salon reported that DeSantis addressed the subject after being asked a question. His answer did not specifically address the claim in the meme, but did respond generally.

Hill Reporter Article
The second post Trump re-shared linked out to an article from Hill Reporter, which is a website described by The New York Times as being "a blog put out by a Democratic super PAC." The story was published on Oct. 24, 2021.
The headline of the Hill Reporter article read, "[Exclusive] [PIC] Ron DeSantis Accused of Attending Drinking Party With Students At High School Where He Taught."
According to the story, information about the photograph was provided to a Hill Reporter by "a source with close knowledge of the matter."
While the article did say that the girls "loved" DeSantis," it made no direct claim or provided any evidence in regard to the idea that he had been "grooming" them for sex. That specific claim appeared to have been born in the meme, which Trump later re-shared.
"According to our whistleblower, [DeSantis] had a reputation among students for being a young 'hot teacher' who girls loved, and the girls in the photo are believed to have graduated in 2002, making them seniors at the time," the story read.
Hill Reporter also added, "The source who provided the photo says that it was taken prior to graduation — meaning the young girls would still have been DeSantis' responsibility at the time."

The Times identified the man in the photograph as being the future Florida governor, and added that "several students recalled that Mr. DeSantis was a frequent presence at parties with the seniors who lived in town."

The drinking age in Georgia, where I believe this happened, has been 21 years of age since the mid 1980s. It’s inappropriate for a teacher to be at a party with their students where underage drinking is going on. He was young and apparently stupid as were the students. He seems to have matured. We all do stupid stuff.

These outlets did research and reportedly found that he was partying and drinking with underage girls while he was a techer in Georgia.

DeSantis pays an army of people to smear Trump endlessly.
And a picture emerges showing Ron with drunk, underage girls draped all over him.
Trump says “hmm, that’s interesting.”
Today Ron plays the victim but doesn’t deny the allegations.
So this will go on.

Grooming usually means building up a relationship of trust over time with young, impressionable children who are mostly unaware of what can happen to them in the big, bad world.

Honestly even wouldn’t care if Biden did this. Heck he’s so old that he was still using a quill pen in school. I voted twice for trump an accused rapist in 2016 and 2020. You think this is going to stop me from voting for DeSantis if he’s the nominee? Your nutz.
Mark Levin scolded the candidates today and said we should keep this election about their accomplishments and their record. Well this is part of their record. It may make people feel uncomfortable. But Ron DeSantis didn’t deny that he was caught in a picture partying with underage drunk girls in his speech today. Better we find out about this now than in the middle of a primary or the general. Just saying, Mark.
And, the mainstream media would be all over this if DeSantis somehow got the GOP nomination.

Perhaps it was me, but I don’t EVER remember any TEACHERS at the high school parties that I went to...which were quite a few!
