I wish this country had MORE old people in positions of influence.
Unfortunately, there are still old-timers like President FJB, so there's that.
As an aside, Moses was 120+/- when he died.

The solar system was still unstable when Moses was alive. You have no idea what a word like “year” would have meant at that time...
We need to get rid of the 17th amendment and revert to the prior system of having senators selected by the state houses.l
And you know this how? It was only 3,400+/- years ago. That’s nothing in the history of the solar system.

He ain’t the only one. Several on this list have gone to their higher rewards. Others have died.
It looks to me like the list was compiled in 2015 and the age(s) are the only thing updated. Four election cycles and the grim reaper have made a few changes. Too few.

Solved with term limits.
Ideally, a resourceful Congressman would seek a Senate seat, or Governorship...with Governors making very good Presidents.
It’s a job for life, then their spouse, then their children.......
Pilots need license and physicals to work as well as sever Jobs. Lets get background checks, physicals and such for our rulers.
The solar system was not much different than it is right now.
Solar systems changes are measured in even longer term than geological time frames.
The time period from the beginning of the solar system to now is huge. Compared to the time period 2000 years ago to now- which is less than a blink of the eye, comparably.
This is a very old list. I’m sure there are a lot of fossils still but an updated list would be a better look at it.
