Black History Month: A Thought Experiement

What would happen upon emancipation, if blacks banded together en-mass, and taken ALL the combine knowledge and wisdom they had learned from the whites: the wheel, reading, writing, arithmetic, horsemanship, farming/agriculture, knowledge of farm implements, rudimentary construction, organization, government, aaaaaaannnddd... FIREARMS!!!

they had all the tools they needed to go back and takeback the lands trey were kidnapped from and KICK THEIR ASSES!!!

they had the opportunity to go back there as REAL Kangz and might actually have had a chance of at least attempting wakanda, hell, the Liberian project should have been a couple orders of magnitude larger than it was.

But those what decided to stay, regardless of how misused and abused their black snowflake seed think they have it today, those that stayed gave them a better life than 99% of the blacks on the planet! But i'm just a hillrod, so what do I know

Blacks in America have it pretty good comparatively speaking, in that they have opportunity in this country.

Real opportunity. Any person of ANY color, and that includes blacks, can prosper in America. Really prosper.

But there are three main things keeping many blacks from understanding that and keeps them from realizing their full potential.

One is Leftism. Many blacks simply cannot see that the Left is no friend of theirs, because the Left is dependent on racial strife for its survival.

Another is a poisonous “Black Culture” that denigrates learning, idolizes violence, and encourages misogyny. (Thomas Sowell discusses this dynamic in his excellent book “Black Rednecks and White Liberals”.)

And yet another is the destruction of the black family unit.

All of these things are Leftist constructs.

There are many blacks who are talented, work hard, and have families. But those people are pushed out of places where families cannot be raised, jobs cannot be held, and personal safety is a real issue. And the people left behind will never (or rarely) succeed and reach their full potential. They will have to subsist in neighborhoods where there is no business, no industry, no job beyond the service industries.

All this because there are people who have a vested interest in holding blacks back.

And those people are not conservatives. Conservatives are their friends, and many of them don’t know it because far too many of them wholly swallow the Leftist line.

It is terrible that blacks were removed from their native countries and spread all over the globe as slaves. But it isn’t as if they were the only ones subjected to this. All cultures both took slaves and became slaves at various times in the history of Man. African blacks included. As well as those starry-eyed Leftist ideals of beauty and natural harmony known as Native Americans who both kept and became slaves as well.

Blacks in America are particularly unfortunate that there are people who, for their own personal gain, want them to remain slaves, if not physically, just as much mentally. And it is those people from whom the modern Democrat Party has descended, and who personify them today.

“taken ALL the combine knowledge and wisdom they had learned from the whites: the wheel, reading, writing, arithmetic, horsemanship, farming/agriculture, knowledge of farm implements, rudimentary construction, organization, government”

Nothing on this list was not already in Africa long before the first slaves were taken.

Maybe I’m a cynic. Yes, exploration drives man — of a certain type, which we admire.
But...looking around, I think most people don’t want to rock the boat, revolt against the king, travel the Oregon Trail. They run a risk/benefit analysis and decide security beats freedom, by a nose. They don’t like rules and taxes, but predictability has a lot of appeal. Responsibility, that’ll keep a body awake nights.

In other words, holding one’s hand out is less of a strain than holding one’s head up.

most of those problems dint exist for them in the 1800s
and exploration is what drives man, well, europeans anyway

Don't overlook the impact of life sucking miserably during the Little Ice Age (roughly AD 1300 to early or mid 1800's). A huge desire for Europeans exploring was to find more crop land and spread out. It's what you do when centuries long cooling periods make crop yields go way down and also create a lot of deaths by plague.

Cities depopulate when nearby small patches of land can no longer feed the town. If you think people moved out of cities during covid, imagine life during the Little Ice Age in Europe with anywhere from 40% to 60% of people dying from the Black Plague. Nations/tribes take over each other lands and spread out to grow lots of crops whenever the little bit of land you owned before doesn't produce enough crops to feed your folks. The same with wanting to get away from sick folks.

Abolition happened about the time the Little Ice Age bottomed out and turned into the Modern Warm Period. The climate is so good for crops now the U.S. government as to pay farmers to keep from growing too much food. An argument could be made it's not a Europeans-are-different-from-blacks thing as far as wanting to explore goes. It may be simply that blacks weren't free (at least in the Americas) at a time when exploring was necessary for survival. But during the Little Ice Age plenty of blacks in Africa did a lot of taking over each other's land and such. In fact, it's how the black slave trade was supplied.

“true, but those all came of on their own”

The vast majority of Americans did not come here on their own and are only U.S. citizens due to their ancestors coming to America. Furthermore, there is no distinction, Constitutional or otherwise, between U.S. citizens based on their ancestors’ migration to America.

Waiting for someone to point out that it's racist to give black people the shortest month of the year.
