I’ve skied St Anton in 1983. It was beautiful place.

Please tell me it took out Davos and the WEF
To: BenLurkin
They also recovered the bodies of a ski guide in Sant Anton am Arlberg and a 62-year-old man who was cross-country skiing around the summit of Hohe Aifner.Saint Anton has some of the best skiing in the entire Alps. But you gotta be careful. Especially cross-country when you're going into the backcountry.
On Saturday, a 17-year-old New Zealander, a 32-year-old Chinese national and a German man in his 50s - who were all said to be skiing off designated ski trails when avalanches hit - were also found dead.
Again if you're going off-piste, it's caveat emptor.

"...aannnddd...what's the punchline?"Well, while they were up there, they encountered a bar, called "Mountain Bar And Grill".
So, they walked into the bar...

I was stationed in Germany at the time. It was a cheap vacation at the time. A once in a lifetime experience.

“intense snowfall”
Must be disinformation. How can global warming have intense snowfall? That’s like Arctic air hitting 19 states in the US in February. Never happen.

Here’s a bar joke for you:
Putin dies and goes to Hell, but after a while, he is given a day off for good behavior.
So he goes to Moscow, enters a bar, orders a drink, and asks the bartender:
-Is Crimea ours?
-Yes, it is.
-And the Donbas?
-Also ours.
-And Kyiv?
-We got that too.
Satisfied, Putin drinks, and asks:
-Thanks, how much do I owe you?
-Five Euros.

No offense intended, but can’t we have any threads that don’t have any Covid or vax or Ukraine-Russia war intruding into them? Getting so tiresome.

Very sad news. The Graubünden can be fierce weather-wise. I don’t know that much about Austria.
