The level of concern politicians have is directly proportional to your political value to them (money and/or votes).
If you have no value, “who the fu#$ are you” to them?
But... If your name is Bill Gates, why they will pass laws on your behest, remember that crap years past, “piracy isn’t a victimless crime?”
The politician, and especially the career politician like a McCain, Pelosi, Bush, Clinton, McConnell, Biden... they are almost all for sale to the highest bidder.
