Almost 250 guns ended up in a dumpster outside an Oklahoma City gun store.
Federal agents are looking into whether the owner properly disposed of the guns, which he said were defective.
A man said a teen employee gave him two guns from the dumpster for free, per court documents.
Federal agents are trying to figure out why an Oklahoma gun store owner threw almost 250 guns in a dumpster, and why a man was allegedly allowed to keep two of them as a memento.

WOW
How is this a Federal issue?
If the guns were in the trash why is it wrong to take them?
Next time, think “boat accident”.

What an idiot. Not only is he endangering our rights by looking careless, he did something much worse. The libtards have gun buybacks occasionally. They offer 100 - 150 bucks per intact gun.
He should have saved them and got 25,000 from the next few gun buybacks.
Something they are not telling us is going on.
I smell an anti-gun activist.
If they were in his bound book, and he just threw them in the trash, and let others take a few for fun, he’s in trouble. Functionality matters little, a serialized receiver does.
Not a smart guy. Not to mention some dumpster diver finds it and strolls around having fun, even if it’s broke. When a cop finds him, or some kid takes a broke one home... he just brought all kinds of stupid attention to himself.
Guns are not such a complicated piece of machinery that an experienced gunsmith could not probably repair each and every one of them, or use the good parts from those that are truly defective. Seriously, how many working parts are there on most of these firearms? Any part that was milled to incorrect specs could be replaced. I just can’t believe there was this many “defective” firearms from one store.
Something is wrong with this story.
Why is the government even interested in this? It’s none of their eff’n business. Yeah, fire away, I have a completely different idea about government’s responsibilities and the meaning of the words “shall not infringe”.
There is much missing from this story thus comment or analysis at this point is not warranted. Over my years I have known many gun dealers. Not one ever threw a weapon in the trash.
If it doesn’t make sense, then it’s only a matter of time to discover what the gov’t or its associated whores are up to.

1. Paid to do so
2. Planed robbery
3. Insurance
4. all the above
???????????????
Look like all the same model; bullpup shotguns? Not sure what model.
How “defective” could they be? I bet I could get many of them working fine.
💩 I never stumble on dumpsters full of guns.
They look like 1990s bullpup designs. Hard to tell but they almost look like the Druganov bullpup. Could be Norinco. And early bullpups were notoriously awful. Maybe he bought a case of them years ago when the soviet union collapsed for cheap and got sick of people bringing them back for repairs or replacement.
