Oz has a lot of bulls sharks in their rivers. They’re the only shark that can adapt to fresh water.

The St Johns River in JAX also has been known to have bull sharks...
Bull sharks notoriously go up river in Africa, South American and north America. There was a good sized one hauled out of the Potomac a few years back and in the early decades of last century one was caught in the Mississippi River outside of Cairo, Illinois.
