I takes people willing to organize a class reunion. I attended 1-11 at a school that had 54 in the senior class. The school I spent my 12th year at had 52.

The first school has always considered me a grad with them (landlord died, forcing my family to move to another farm in the neighboring school district).

The first school has a couple of women that love planning the reunions; there’s been one every 5 years (50th last year). I’ve only missed 3.

The second school managed a 10 and a 25 as far as I know (I attended the 10, but since I only went there my last year I felt like a stranger).

It is interesting to see big changes in appearance. Except for a gray head of thinning hair I’m about the same.

The sad part is the deceased number, 1/4 are gone so far.

My graduating class had 208 students. I counted it once way back then, and have always remembered that number. There have been reunions every 5 or so years, and lately they’ve been combined with other classes. There are quite a few classmates still in the area, and they are usually the ones who do most of the organizing. I’m sure it’s quite a thankless task.

We went to my 10th reunion, and my husband’s 25th. Seems good enough to me.
