Anonymity on the web has given rise to this stuff. Anyone who posts in public on the web should have their full, accurate, and immediate contact information associated with their words. The public displays of false hatred would evaporate. Journalists as well. Either put your direct contact info with your words, or shut your pen holes.

I would argue strongly against that. Many of the handbills posted prior to and during the American Revolution were posted anonymously. Anonymous political speech has an important place in American political history, and doing away with it on the Internet is *not* a good idea.
