My wife is really going to watch of the re-boot of Beavis and Butthead. For years she has insisted that in 1968-69 she went to high school with two guys that were the ringers of those characters.

Graham Hancock’s Acient Apocolyse had some interesting stuff about Tititaca where the South Shore maximum was 100 feet lower than the north shore maximum, due to a massive seismic event and a temple that once was on the shore was left high and dry.

Maybe it was all BS, but I’d like to check it out sometime.

My wife's aunt was telling me about a friend of hers who came over from Thailand, saw some Asian squash in the market here, and was so surprised that they have the same type of squash here, that she burst out "Fak Me, Dewey!"

There is a town called Gap, Pennsylvania. before you reach Intercourse, which is about where Mount Joy is but, be careful or you’ll end in Fertility, which takes you Bird in Hand, just before Smoketown.

Of course, you’d start your trip from Blue Ball, Pennsylvania.

I did not make that up

They are right near each other....

Few things reduce grown men into boys as fast as that lake, the Grand Tetons, Uranus, and my favorite...

The whole Uranus thing is a big joke being played on everyone by astronomers (or should I say, "ass-tronomers"). Why is that planet named using the Greek name, and all the other planets use the Roman names? Also, why not use the variant "Ouranos?"

BTW the Roman version of the same entity is "Caelus." No potty jokes there!

Sheesh.
