Prisons are stupid. Most of these people should be killed.

Well, at least they’ll be moving their gang problems indoors.
To: zeestephen
At least they’re trying to stop the crime. Our justice system is doing everything to increase it.

They will kill each other either inside or outside. Better they kill each other inside so to limit the collateral damage to innocent people and the people outside who also should be killed.

When I left El Salvador, the gang membership was larger than the entire army.
When there is no morality, society disintegrates.

Bingo. Need the death penalty here administered here, too. And promptly.

Shouldn’t waste two-thirds of a square mile of San Salvador on them, especially if they’re capital offenders.

I was just thinking that the only solution is to execute them.
Yes, Jesus can indeed redeem them. It has happened.
Offer them the chance and if they reject it, then they take the consequences.

Maybe. But there is something to be said for incrementalism. Duterte tried the summary judgement execution thing in the Philippines with mixed results.

What corporation built the prison for the government? What are the stipulations and agreed on occupancy rates between the two parties, for the corporation to make back it’s money and prosper on free to almost free labor, usually 90% or so.
Welcome to the new corporate slave labor force. The prosecutors and judges have to stay busy to make sure the are filled, or there are financial penalties on the states.
Justice for all has been blinded by corporate greed and bought for politicians.
The former land of the free.
