I have personally been to both the Komi Republic and the North Slope of Alaska. Cannot compare the two.

Meanwhile, he knows that drilling takes time to get going... and by the time the campaigns are over...
he does a Peanuts move and pulls away the football at the end of the campaigning, if he, by some miracle (aka: stealing the election again) wins a second term.
Just remember that nothing is mentioned about the intended destination of this oil if drilled.

That ship has sailed. The Canadians got tired of US government farting around with it and made other arrangements.
The United States is now producing >12 million barrels per day with WTI at $76.70. The price may need to edge up a bit to get new fields in Alaska into production.
Let me guess, they’ll allow drilling in locations that make no economic sense to drill.
France is now a net exporter of electricity .
With 44 reactors now finally reconnected out of 56, France’s nuclear power availability has hit 73.7 percent. Great news.
