She probably would have already won an Oscar if they had a category for Best Topless Scene. As I remember it, that was the best aspect of her acting.
She herself made that comment in an interview. She saw her parents as "beautiful" and herself as so-so. She doesn't seem to want people to think she's beautiful, and she's comfortable with aging.
Yes, she's a Hollywood leftist, but the love story between her and Christopher Guest is romantic. She's told it many times. She saw his Spinal Tap photo in a magazine and said, "I'm going to marry that man." She contacted his agent, left her number, but Chris never called her. A few months later, she saw him at a restaurant, and he waved at her and left. The next day he called her. They married four months later, even though they weren't able to spend more than a few days together during that time due to work commitments. They've been married almost 40 years.
Once after my wife had abdominal surgery, the only thing that got her digestive tract functioning again was a Taco Bell Burrito Supreme with green sauce.

As a frequent visitor to Key West from Miami, I always kinds laugh at that scene on the dead-end bridge.
So,...we have a perfectly good highway that I’m on right now but they decided to use and old road that got washed out 100 years ago.

I’ve been down Hwy 1 twice. Once I was hitching down to Key West (in my wild youth). A hippy-looking couple picked me up, said it was illegal to hitchhike in Monroe county, gave me a ride about half way down, took a bus the rest of the way. The other time I drive down. That’s a LONG, LONG ride.
Built i think in the 20s During the time they were putting the rail Road in from Miami to Key West. Hurricane came in and wiped everything out.
