I was still teaching public school in Los Angeles in Nov 2019, and several of our students had a bout of "weird flu" too. I was exposed to it, because a boy who sat right next to my desk most definitely had it. I'm positive I'm one of those who gets it and is asymptomatic.
A year later, my parents both had it, and I was with them every day, hugs and all, and... nothing. So, same as you, I see no point in me getting some vaccination I don't trust.
I’ve said it on another thread that at first I was neutral and was in a wait and see mode. Then the red flags started going up. Got pressure to vax from a few friends and relatives but just kept saying I’m in a wait and see mode. I was never in a jab or no job or any other high pressure situation and I sympathize with those that were. I know I am far from the smartest but I read enough here on FR every day to keep me very wary. Not getting any pressure for the vax nowadays but if I ever did I’ll continue to say I’m in a wait and see mode but I think most of us here have seen or read enough by now.

That was exactly my logic.
I was not that clever—I just wanted everybody else to be the guinea pigs.
None of the “experts” want to extend your life.
They want you dead to “save the planet”.
If you ignore the experts you have an excellent chance of living many years in good health.
I wonder... Anyone other than me not get the shot simply because they never closed and secured our borders during this whole “emergency”?

If people had been following more closely the vaccine/Autism linkage fewer would have taken the gene therapy injections.
"THE SCIENCE" says it's all BS. PEOPLE/PARENTS say otherwise.
Who is one to believe?
Sadly, most people are sheep and simply believe what they're told.
TRUST THE SCIENCE (which is nothing more than trust the speakers of those words, not ACTUAL science)...even if you don't understand it .
True vaccines are great. What we call "vaccines" now aren't THAT.

I didn’t trust the shot right out of the gate when I saw how hard the government was pushing it. The airwaves were filled with exhortations to get the “safe and effective” shot because you “care about others.” Then they were bribing people with cash, gift cards, dinner and movie passes, etc. Then came the threats. When Biden said “We’re losing patience with you people,” about those of us who weren’t complying, that sealed it.
I wasn’t going to be bullied or threatened by a public servant who works for *us.* I had no desire to have some experimental solution injected into me because the government said so.
Experimental jab they changed the meaning of vaccine for.
The Big Pharma was given release of any liabiilty for damage to humans as a result.
Congress excuses themselves from any mandates.
The above is a big red flag to not allow yourself to be a lab rat.
Oh and those vaxes were tried on some critters sometime earlier and they all died.
Did Mr Adams pay any attention or even think?
If those jabs were actually safe and effective they would not have been experimental.

YEah, didn't take long. I was going along with it for a little while because Trump seemed to be taking it seriously. But after a while it was apparent that Trump was almost like a hostage to that task force headed by Pence.
If the kung flu was that dangerous Congress would have trampled us to get the shots first. When they exempted themselves was my first clue. The southern border being wide open, no testing, no vaccine, just let them in was my second clue. If it was that deadly the military would be on the border with shoot to kill orders.
In my family, my farther and step mother had all the shots and boosters but they still got the coronavirus. My step mother got it but she recovered OK but Dad was in hospital for 10 days, he had the virus, pneumonia and COPD. I never had the shots, I don’t think I had it, not sure, although I was very sick when it first started so who knows? I test negative every time, I was recently in hospital for three weeks due to a very bruised periformis muscle. I wonder if I had a variation of it in 1997, Mom and I were both sick and she complained where everything tasted like cardboard and I lost most of my taste too.

Making excuses because nobody smart enough to be a cardiologist would really believe that would do any good. Would they?
I gave up on him when I showed at a 4:30 appointment 10 minutes early to a standing room only waiting room, so I volunteered to wait outside in my truck. I monitored the door and nobody moved for over a half hour. I gave up after an hour and a half and went home. They called me at 7:45 saying the doctor could see me now. I told them no, he could not.
Not taking sides but you never know what they come up against emergency wise. Sometimes though they just walk off the job and leave the staff hanging.
