Yes but did he ever get the jab and did he die suddenly... at 84?

RIP Bobby. Tell your fellow #9's Gordie and the Rocket we said hi.
Mikita too.
To: Red Badger
Ah yes that is the Bobby Hull I remember, toothless. A great player. I grew up watching him and Stan the Man Mikita on our b&w tv. RIP

The Golden Jet. A great player with a feared shot. His brother Dennis also played with him on the Blackhawks, also had a cannon shot. I tried to watch him play every chance I had on Saturday nights on WGN.
To: ShadowAce
Condolences to family and friends of Bobby Hull.

Used to have the call of that goal (his 51st) on reel to reel. Scored it on Ceasar Maniago of the NY Rangers. I had been to the old Garden the previous Wed. evening hoping to witness history when the Black Hawks were in town. Had him “in frame” with my camera very time he had the puck. He didn’t score and I did NOT enjoy the game with my mind on getting a photo. lol

That was when it was a more polite brand of sport, as players did not hit from behind and if a stick was raised, that was an act of war. Not like the kind of garbage that you see day in and day out nowadays.

I was a Bruins fan, so we didn’t like when “the other Bobby” showed up.
But, he was fun to watch.
Rest In Peace.

I don't have to see his number, I know Gerry Cheever by the "Jason" mask with painted-on stitches.
