--The San Francisco 49ers vs. Philadelphia Eagles game kicked off at 3:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, Jan. 29 -Referee John Hussey and crew were trolled for their alleged biased calls in the Philadelphia Eagles vs San Francisco 49ers -This trolling comes as fans are already aware of Referee Hussey's history with The Eagles
NFL referees’ whistles can have an unintended effect on a game’s tempo and tone. Thus, when it was revealed that John Hussey would be the head referee for Sunday’s game, it appeared that the Philadelphia Eagles would be in good hands.
Hussey, 58, started his career in 2002 as a line judge before becoming a referee in 2015. Three Eagles playoff games had Hussey as a line judge. This includes the Eagles’ divisional round triumph against the Vikings in 2005, and their wild-card round victory over the Vikings in 2009. All in all, The Eagles have a pretty good history with John Hussey.
However, fans who are aware of this history are now accusing Referee Hussey of being partial towards the Eagles in the NFC Championship Game.
John Hussey accused of biased judgments:
Referee John Hussey and crew were trolled for their alleged biased calls in the Philadelphia Eagles vs San Francisco 49ers NFC title game at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.
“@NFL you have to kill the game ? Obvious you want Philly to win the superbowl ! Niners D# Got framed with fake flaggs ! John Hussey, corrupt ahole !!!” a Twitter user said.
“Just saying, the #Eagles haven’t lost a game with John Hussey as ref,” another one added.
“John Hussey and his crew have been awful. Nfl needs to fix this officiating problems fast,” a third one tweeted.

John Hussey controversies:
On Hussey’s record of controversial decisions, there aren’t many that were flawed. In December, he was chastised for overturning a potential game-tying touchdown by Washington due to an illegal formation penalty. In that case, Hussey came under scrutiny for failing to call a pass interference foul on a pivotal fourth-down play that occurred late in the fourth quarter. However, overall, Hussey has a very strong track record and has never been strongly accused of biases before today.
Jill is getting some tonight.
Until Lynch/Shanahan address our porous pass defense offensive line, we’ll continue to get QB’s hurt and need to keep #1 Purdy and #2 Lance plus #3 X as Garropolo is now a FA.
I saw it live, and the receiver coming back to the huddle after telling them to huddle up should have signalled someone on the 9ers sideline. Add in the roughing the punter call, that should have been. Clearly that should have never been called.
I don’t even watch the game anymore, it is clearly being “handled” in a manner to make money for gamblers.
ONe of the many reasons I stopped watching NFL.
I gave up on the NFL in 1981, the year of the strike. At first I was lost on Sundays, but eventually I found a new balance in my life.
I think they keep Purdy and flip a coin between Lance and G. The laughing on the sidelines does not help G.
The strike was in 1982.
Your team wanted to be known as bullies and they finally met someone who could punch back harder and they played like desperate fools after they got punched in the mouth. They need to get an O-line that can protect a QB (4 of them hurt in one year!) and get their objectively great D to play smarter and with more discipline when the chips are down if they want to be champs.
See ya next year!
The San Francisco Forty Whiners!
Blind referees gotta earn a living ... there’s the chillin to feed, dope to buy and nice things for the little woman.

Yep — I keep lists :)
I’ve been a moderator and Admin. at several boards, starting with “Geocities” (yeah ... I know ... I’m a dinosaur, but I got some Yahoo! stock out of it)
I still have that instinct to keep track of posting patterns & “anomalies”
I couldn’t care less about any of it.
