NFL referees’ whistles can have an unintended effect on a game’s tempo and tone. Thus, when it was revealed that John Hussey would be the head referee for Sunday’s game, it appeared that the Philadelphia Eagles would be in good hands.
Hussey, 58, started his career in 2002 as a line judge before becoming a referee in 2015. Three Eagles playoff games had Hussey as a line judge. This includes the Eagles’ divisional round triumph against the Vikings in 2005, and their wild-card round victory over the Vikings in 2009. All in all, The Eagles have a pretty good history with John Hussey.
However, fans who are aware of this history are now accusing Referee Hussey of being partial towards the Eagles in the NFC Championship Game.

Referee John Hussey and crew were trolled for their alleged biased calls in the Philadelphia Eagles vs San Francisco 49ers NFC title game at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.
“@NFL you have to kill the game ? Obvious you want Philly to win the superbowl ! Niners D# Got framed with fake flaggs ! John Hussey, corrupt ahole !!!” a Twitter user said.
“Just saying, the #Eagles haven’t lost a game with John Hussey as ref,” another one added.
“John Hussey and his crew have been awful. Nfl needs to fix this officiating problems fast,” a third one tweeted.

John Hussey controversies:
On Hussey’s record of controversial decisions, there aren’t many that were flawed. In December, he was chastised for overturning a potential game-tying touchdown by Washington due to an illegal formation penalty. In that case, Hussey came under scrutiny for failing to call a pass interference foul on a pivotal fourth-down play that occurred late in the fourth quarter. However, overall, Hussey has a very strong track record and has never been strongly accused of biases before today.
49ers we’re given 30 yards of penalties in the one touchdown they got against Dallas last week.
They discovered who the NFL wants in the super bowl.
But two left wing cities were a good message overall for the NFL on the NFC championship.
When your starting QB, is number 3 on the depth chart and goes out with an injury, you are not going to win a championship game, with your #4, who also got injured.
Niners also used McCaffrey as a QB, that is your #5 emergency QB.

Actually, Kyle Juszczyk is their emergency QB. Not sure why he didn’t play. We could have used Freddie Solomon today.

They were tied with a few minutes left in the first quarter. But they should have been ahead, given the first TD was based on an incompletion.
They probably will trade Purdy, because if they keep him he may compete with Trey Lance.

Did they blow it or just not corrected it? Last week in the KC Jacksonville game it was obvious bias throughout the first of the game with the ball spots ect. Really bad by the same official and no replays to challenge it or show the bias. The NFL is really sketchy. I think deep state controls the NFL.
Yeah..Eagles went too quick...but still SF should have challenged...they havex15-20 folks in the booth.
The Niners scored one measly touchdown & acted like sore-losers from the 1st quarter on. Their coach led by very poor example, and should have told his team to shake off the missed call on that Eagles early catch. Instead he berated the refs constantly.
The Niners were pretty clearly trying to injure Hurts, and the stupid brawl might cost the Eagles a very good player in the Super Bowl. He did throw a punch, but when someone is practically strangling you and then throws you to the ground, you might just be a little upset!

“I think deep state controls the NFL.” The term “deep state” is just fuzzy term for a boring group of people who reject grace from the Lord and accept the allure of seven deadly sins, such as greed, sloth, wrath and envy. The shallow people in the boring group are, for sure, miserable. Tom Brady’s criticisms of Goodell, commissioner since 2006, are accurate. Then again, going to an NFL game is super fun.
