Actress Annie Wersching, best known for her roles in the television shows 24, Bosch and Timeless, died of cancer early this morning. She was 45.
Wersching continued to shoot even after her 2020 diagnosis, with prominent roles in Star Trek: Picard as the Borg queen in Season 2, and The Rookie. She also voiced Tess in the popular The Last Of Us video game, which was adapted into a TV series by HBO.
Wersching’s husband, actor Stephen Full, issued a statement. “There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall.

I recall her from Bosch. Pretty woman.
RIP.
Beautiful woman. She played a good Borg Queen in Picard.

Such a shame to go at 45. RIP
3 kids as well.
Picard has mostly been a train wreck so far, but she was an excellent replacement for Alice Krieg. RIP. 🥃
Best drama series ever.......sad that it eventually came to an end.
They’re going to show the big third and finaltrailer for Picard season three during the AFC championship game between the Bengals and Chiefs after the NFC 49ers self destruction game right now..
Renee Walker in “24.” Best female lead ever. Amazing chemistry with Jack Bauer. Loved also backstory of her leaving corrupt FBI, ahead of its time, now sadly not.
Freckles was definitely hot.
I liked her in Bosch. Quite a hottie. May she RIP.
Sudden and unexpected
I loved her. she had me mesmerized as agent Walker on 24.
Cancer. .
.
She had a two year battle with cancer very sad RIP
Oh, no, Freckles. She was really good opposite Nathan Fillion in The Rookie.
I was surprised to see that a GoFundMe has been set up. I usually see them for people/families who can’t afford funeral expenses or need help with medical bills. I don’t expect hollywood actors to need help with these things.
Way too young.
Well, they’ve been taught that everyone else should pay for everything, so this doesn’t surprise me at all.
