When I was in college back in the 90s, Omega Psi Phi was known for particularly brutal hazing. The “Q Dogs” as they called themselves were almost all branded (yes, that kind of branding) with some variant of the Greek letters.

Lot of black football players with the Greek letters like omega branded into their arms. Usually giant lineman type. Always found it odd that blacks would line up to be branded like cattle willingly

Sounds like a gang. When I was in college frat boys wore white shoes and white belts and consumed ridiculous quantities of booze. Not my style.

At university in the 70s it was not almost branded, they had big brands burned onto their biceps.
