What are the diversity/quota stats for the anonymous costumed mascots?

Since they are anonymous in their character suits, maybe they should wear racial badges on their arms so people can gauge how woke Disney is.

It is simply amazing how stupid and thoughtless people have become. It appears limitless including the elites at the WEF and unfortunately our own government.

Apparently, the objection from the overly race conscious crowd was that the animal characters at Splash Mountain were from writer and son of the Old South Joel Chandler Harris. Yet the true story has no racism -- far from it.

Harris, as a young journalist, lived at Turnwold Plantation in Eatonton, Georgia during the Civil War and immediately afterwards. Harris spent hundreds of hours in the slave quarters during his time off. An illegitimate, red-headed son of an Irish immigrant, Harris felt less self-conscious with the slaves and his humble background helped foster a close connection with them.

Harris absorbed the stories, language, and inflections of the slaves. The animal tales that he learned from them became the basis for Harris's popular Uncle Remus tales. Told in dialect, Harris's work preserved and transmitted stories that Harris heard directly from slaves whom he liked and admired.

The idiots at Disney ought to have put up an explanatory plaque about the origin of the Splash Mountain characters and done the same in a modern introduction to Song of the South -- and told the woke crowd where to go. Those who make billions of dollars a year as makers and purveyors of American culture have an obligation to defend it.
