Everyone is religious. Secular humanism, atheism, agnosticism, it’s all religion. Everyone has a worldview, philosophy, and ethical system. That is religion.
Now Jesus did tell us to go and make disciples. If you read your Bible, you know this. Does that mean you have to shout on a street corner or bring Him up in every conversation? I don’t think Scripture supports that, at all.
However to imply that we ought not bring up religion, of any kind, on an opinion forum, is totally unreasonable. Religion forms all of our opinions.
And if you are indeed reading your Bible, you must grapple with the fact that somehow and in some way - especially in the sending of missionaries and in at least being ready to give an answer for the hope that is within you - you must share the gospel. You must confess Christ before men. Somehow.
So… which Bible and which church?
I generally study the NKJV, but I also have the ESV, NIV, and several other translations. My go to study Bible is the NKJV New Scofield Reference Bible.

And attend a Bible believing church, there are many in the USA.
