According to one report I saw, the cops were in plainclothes and may have been in unmarked vehicles.

In a dump like Memphis, I would seriously consider the possibility that he fled from them because he didn’t believe they were real police officers.

Or is it that the police are so dangerous that they should be obeyed lest they murder you?

Remind me again why police are supposed to be better than armed citizens?
