"An indictment in Shelby County Criminal Court details charges of second-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, official misconduct and official oppression against the five former Memphis officers charged in the death of Tyre Nichols.
In addition to laying out the justification for the charges, the grand jury indictment states the officers intentionally did “refrain from performing a duty that was imposed by law that was clearly inherent in the nature of the office or employment."

Ever watch the rebranded Live PD (now called On Patrol Live) on Reelz?
Many of the officers shown on that program make you wonder:
1. THAT’S a COP? He/she/it looks more like a perp than a law enforcement officer. And we’re talking uniformed officers, not undercover Serpico-type dirtbags who are meant to look like criminals.
2. How could these people possibly have passed whatever exam (if any) is necessary in order to be a member of a police department?
The same people who hope for Civil War 2.0 and expect the military to be on our side when the shooting starts (dream on) will be every bit as wrong if they expect the local and state police forces to be on our side.

Power hungry cops make bad cops. These cops were bullies and had no business being cops.
Have you seen the videos?
Because when the cops first make contact with him he seems cogent and in control of himself. He also seems bewildered by their violence and anger towards him. Once they start beating on him is when he escaped and ran away.
It’s not clear how they caught up to him in the video but once they did they beat him, tased him, pepper sprayed him, beat him with a baton, and then after they had him in handcuffs at least two of the cops held him while a third punched him in the face over and over.
