"Why not just make the boosters land and reuse them." Wonder how many old NASA guys laughed at the idea and I wonder how small their gonads shrunk when they saw this?
He wanted to land manned capsules the same way but NASA said no. Guess they were worried about the visual, uhmm, impact if something went wrong.
