I’ve been getting ocular migraines frequently for the past 20 yrs. They usually happen when I’m dehydrated or stressed or spent too much time looking at screens. I get the scintillating scotoma (visual aura) for 20 minutes followed by a moderate headache and fatigue for the rest of the day.

I have a history of half a dozen migraines in my early 20s and then nothing for 20 years until these ocular migraines started happening. Nobody knows much about them and doctors usually say just to “sit back and enjoy the show.” Very frustrating.

Funny. When I cut all the fiber out and went mostly carnivore, I never got another migraine. I still have my last 2 prescription tablets from 2016 in a cupboard. I used to get 12-15 per year and now none.
