The first major mass shootings I can remember were at McDonalds (1984) and Luby’s (1991).

We have a seemingly growing problem with them since the 1990s. The media over-covers them, and thereby encourages more.

The problem began when they closed down the mental institutions in the 1970s and turned the crazies out on the streets. Now a new generation of crazies are running amok killing people.

What changed? Obvious. Less homes with parents, Poor schooling and nut jobs trained to kill by the people who are pushing gun control.
