There is nothing endemically wrong with mRNA vaccines as a delivery vehicle. There IS a problem with COVID spike proteins.

That is incorrect. There was never a successful mRNA vaccine attempt for the nearly 20 year prior to these, to which you now day there was a problem.
We have no example, ever, of a functioning mRNA vaccine that is safe. Even the current ones are still under an EUA, meaning they were launched and still exist only in the La-La Land territory of something medical without necessary proof of activity, nor safety.
