Today’s TikTok users are our children who will be tomorrow’s leaders. This app for China is dbasing and archiving every recordable data of each child user for future use of extortion, blackmail, coercion, or destruction. Imagine having every stupid, immoral, and/or criminal thing you’ve ever done recorded and reintroduced into your life as an adult - when seeking a key position or public office. Of course, five short years from now, deep fakes will be perfected, so it all might be moot anyway.
This is an op. Gov wants TikTok dead because they’re eating other big tech’s lunch. Calls for TikTok to be banned have been increasing as their market share explodes. Gov has to protect Facebook and Twitter to continue their disinformation campaign against the American people.
The West’s youth already are ‘perpetually distracted dopamine junkies ill-equipped to maintain the civilization built by their ancestors’.
Don’t need Tik-tok for that, though it probably adds to the problem.

The telling fact presented in the article is that Western-style Tik Tok is no longer available to Chinese users, replaced with a version that empthasizes healthy pursuits such as technical learning and it also reinforces alliegence to the State, the CCP.
So....while Western children vegitate, Chinese children are guided to become smarter and more obidient citizens.
