More people need to know Brandon Tsay’s name. Just amazing.
Keep in mind, alleged Monterey Park gunman Huu Can Tran was carrying a loaded weapon … and Tsay still fought with and disarmed him.
At this point, we’re going to guess Tsay didn’t know about the 10 people Huu had already killed or the additional 10 people he had wounded.
If he did, this is even more amazing.
How many lives did Tsay save that night?

Considering the killer is said to be 72 years, he put up a surprisingly spirited fight against this young man (who, it appears, was simply trying to disarm the killer, not subdue him). Too bad nobody else stepped up to tackle the killer after he was disarmed.

LMAO at your stupid comment.
That one didn’t work.
There are multiple videos here:
Slap slap
“At this point, we’re going to guess Tsay didn’t know about the 10 people Huu had already killed or the additional 10 people he had wounded.”
He stated he had not heard till after he disarmed the killer.
None was required from my computer but, maybe my firewalls and stuff allow it? Doing a search on “brave” popped a lot of copies of the video.
I am going to guess the gun was empty.
If not Tsay should have used it on the vermin.
Of course being Kali he may not have known how to fire it.
In any case he should be awarded it and given lessons on using it.
Yah, he might have to leave Kali for that, but that may be a good idea for him anyway.

The man was fighting for his life. His goal was to keep the gun away from the killer.
I don’t have a twitter account and it wouldn’t let me view it.
I don’t have one either and it worked. There are a lot of copies out there at this point. Look up a couple posts and there is another link.
Go to Twitchy.com and click on the video in their post regarding the incident. You do not have to have a Twitter account to view it.
I too was wondering why no one else stepped in to help the young man.
“I am going to guess the gun was empty.”
The guy said it misfired when pointed at him and he grabbed it as the killer was “fumbling” with it.
The guy never had a chance to find out. And in close combat he couldn’t point the gun at the killer without risking losing the gun.
“I too was wondering why no one else stepped in to help the young man.”
No one there to step in.
“No one there to step in.”

Well that makes sense. I thought it was a restaurant, bar, or some other type of public place that had a lot of people around.

I think it was another dance hall. Looks like an entry way. Patrons would be inside partying with music.
I watched the video again.
The good guy had the Jam-O-Matic pointed at the murderer more than once.
So I have to assume it was still jammed.
Surprised he let the murderer walk away.
The gun was a 9 mm caliber semiautomatic MAC-10 with a silencer on the barrel.
