What do you mean by ‘their own stream’? When we have cable, we have Fox. And we have all of the other big news cable channels.
I haven’t seen any of them offering anything for free.
That’s not how that stuff works. It’s all about ad revenue and reduced license fees. Fox nation was started to get 100% of the revenue and not having to share it with cable companies. They won’t share that stuff with anyone.
Well, what difference does it make to me, if I pay for cable anyway and get Fox and the other channels I want?
And I don’t know of any business that doesn’t try and get the best profit they can for their product.
What do you want them to do that they’re not doing?
Back in the day I worked as a large system GM for a cable company.
The bundling has to do with keeping license fees low (what we paid the Fox’s of the world.). They want it in as many homes as possible so they can sell ads.
Fox nation isn’t a channel per se. it’s a streaming service. There would be no easy way to put it on a cable system.
Well, I guess I’m dense; but I get it when I have a cable subscription. And the number of ads doesn’t bother me, vs. the content.
It seems to me that they can arrange their business as they like, unless there’s a law against what they are doing.
Often if you wait an hour someone will have uploaded part or all of those to YouTube. Or you could just pay for the service.
See if your cell phone provider offers a streaming service.
Don’t think you can find it for free.
Connection timed out... Repeatedly.
