I can pray he have a recovery and it is always a possibility of a miracle.

I have a fundamental issue with actively praying for the death of one person so the life of another can be furthered.

It’s most likely going to put me in the really small minority.....

Never, ever, have I felt comfortable praying for a replacement part.

Never.

Certainly, even for myself or a family member or friend...nobody....

May the LORD God grant this young man grace with his life. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Unfortunately I suppose, there will always be potential donor candidates. Most suitable organs perish and are never available. It is a tragedy on more than level

Well, people die regularly, whether you pray for a transplant organ or not. How about you pray that one of the people (whom the Lord knows, of course, is going to die), be a good match for this young man?
