We had a beautiful place we had built in the sangre de Cristo mountain range around 2004. It was a summer place. Beautiful, peaceful . And then they legalized marijuana . That’s when the zillions of people who wanted to get rich quick and get high moved in. They pitched tents along the Rio Grande and basically lived there. Then came box cars, empty container units, you name it. Poop in the 5 galllon pails. Dump it in the river. Squatters. Our reservoir then became polluted. Too scary to go fish there anymore due to the crum bums hanging out. Sold in 2017. Took our money and ran. In 2018 a homeless guy living in his truck started a huge fire, they gave it a name, the spring fire that burned over 108000 acres right near where our house was. It didn’t burned but everyone was evacuated. So very sad.
Noblefree, are you reading these last few comments?
It’s my opinion as well...
I used to have to argue, but nobody really challenges that anymore.
I’m guessing pot really is a gateway drug, and some of these trash have graduated to meth, heroin, crack, etc.
