I love a great deal of Joni’s music, but for most people it’s an acquired taste. Some folks never like her style of singing, songwriting or storytelling.
But I’m not going to call another Freeper ugly names or verbally throw rocks at them just because they enjoy different styles of music.
You could say “I’ve listened to music from both sides now”
