I take the opposite approach. I like to tell these people that I menstruate even better than a woman does. In fact, I put the "men" in menstruation. I've taken menstruation to a whole new level because, well, us men can menstruate just so much better than women can because I don't get mood swings or cramps. If I don't see tampons in the men's room, I improvise with wads of toilet paper, because I'm a man and I know how to circumvent these sort of obstacles. That's what I tell them.

Believe it or not, this is NOT the response they are expecting and they get irritated by it.
