Why? We need to keep out of this quagmire
The American Volunteer Group was able to see over the horizon and understand we would be a war with Japan. They allowed the Chinese to buy aircraft and hire American pilots to fly against the Japanese Army from 1940 to 1941. They weren’t Army or Navy pilots.
There was no “us getting involved.”
We’re already in it, *$$hole deep and we’re going to pick up the tab next.
